I am an independent. I do not trust the Democratic or Republican corporations.
I voted for the President in 2008, but will not be joining “Hope 2.0.” I resent the dishonesty/hypocrisy that has been revealed to me during this health insurance reform chicanery.
I understand that his party won the election, and therefore they control the agenda.
What I don’t understand is why the President would affirm (over and over) that if I am happy with my current health choices, I could keep them, when in fact he is actively pursuing a strategy that would obliterate my freedom of choice and replace it with a universal government system.
Why lie? Is he ashamed (in front of certain audiences) of Medicare-for-all? Where is the courage to stand behind one’s convictions?
Is it a lame attempt at a Jedi mind trick?
It may be politically savvy, but it is insulting and not “the change we need.”
BTW – a few of the comments above are generic bot-generated spam.
