Prop A has tremendous popular support in the state.

Why do OP and the daily papers oppose local residents having a say in how they raise revenue for their local government?

If Prop A passes, AND if STL city voters eliminate the earnings tax in April 2011, the city may start engaging/listening to its residents instead of bullying them.
