For a party so obsessed with the economy, Republicans spend precious little time reading CBO analyses. If they did they'd find that direct government spending has a far greater impact on the economy than tax cuts. Yet they'll propose the exact opposite which is that we should spend less. The second most effective means of stimulating the economy? Tax cuts on lower income Americans which are more than three times as effective as cuts on upper income Americans. Yet they'll propose the exact opposite which is that more tax relief to the rich will magically trickle down. In short, their entire economic platform is built on fantasy. Yes, I know math is hard but it's very useful when you're dealing with no credit check loans and money in general.

The Bloomberg Global Poll of investors, traders and financial analysts has returned results in favor of the U.S. upping the tax rate in order to take a bite out of the federal deficit. Approximately 67 percent of poll respondents think reducing the deficit will not be possible otherwise, which runs counter to the GOP plan of debt attack. Without installment loans, it might be very difficult to decrease the debt.
