I’m heartened to see that librarians, at least, are still on the side of truth, justice, and the American way. On the other hand, my inner cynic kept whispering as I was reading: “Kids read books these days? Really?” If I personally wanted to promote some shocking concept — oh, like fair treatment for all citizens — I’d put it in a video game.
