Profit $15.7 Billion and they pay $5.9 Billion in Federal Income Taxes. If we subtract the “total government assistance” to Walmart employees (I hope this doesn’t count any Social Security payments to older workers) than Walmart only pay $3.24 Billion in Income Taxes with an effective rate of 20.6%.
