Hi David! Most Western democracies have national elections managed by their governments. They have very little of the voter suppression activities we endure at the state level. This guy is suggesting a non-partisan federal agency or board that would manage national elections. Federalizing the voting process, making it more consistent and easier for people to vote, would increase voter participation. Right now, only half of eligible voters vote and for good reason. It’s difficult and confusing. If more people voted, the chances of Republicans controlling all three branches of government would diminish.
