Certainly not the people of Chicago. In regards again to the parking privatization,   the estimated revenue from these meters, paid by the people of Chicago, is roughly $9.58 billion. The alderman we voted in all followed the “leader” aka Daly, and pushed this horrible deal through. It is their fault in the end – they could have rejected it, but they were scared of balancing the budget. So, they went for the quick fix.
