Gore didn’t lose because people voted for Nader. Gore lost because people voted for Bush in the right states. Gore ran a poor campaign. Let’s not forget that he lost the debates to Bush. BUSH! Gore was also hurt by association with Clinton, who had a bad rep almost solely for his inability to keep his penis in his pants. The failure to blame both Clinton’s actions and Gore’s actions for Gore’s loss is the blindness I referred to. Too much scapegoating of Nader is associated with that election.
