More guns rarely stop crime, with only 261 justifiable homicides committed in 2011.”

You do not need to kill someone with a gun to stop a crime. According to page 15 of this study which was conducted at the requests of that rabidly pro-gun organization, the Obama Administration, civilians use guns to stop crimes at least 800,000 times a year.

17,000 women murdered over what period of time? Fun fact is, guns do help women. In 1966, Orlando offered gun training to women in the city to protect them from rape. Next year, rape had dropped by 90%.
