at all the jobs we lost because Missouri Republicans refused to expand
Medicaid. (Though that was also related to an ACA provision.) I think the number of jobs created in the private sector
(hospitals, clinics, etc.) as a direct result of a Mediare-for-all
scheme needs to be taken into consideration as well. Job loss is
definitely a factor but it’s not an impossible obstacle. More insured =
more facilities that will need experienced staff. I think the problem of affordable health care will only get worse if we continue “kicking the can down the road”.
