But is that why we are the only country not treating this issue with the urgency and gravity warranted? If we believe global warming is not real, or not an issue, then that is a good excuse not to do anything about it. As you pointed out, however, every human has a stake in this fight. It doesn’t make sense to ignore it, whether you are a wealthy head of a big oil company or a blue collar worker. Global warming will effect us all. I’m glad we have people like Justin Catanoso, able and willing to educate us.
