They are never going to draw in votes from the “other side” no matter their campaign promises. That D next to their name is one thing, but everyone knows/thinks politicians lie. They make a lot of promises on the campaign trail that just don’t seem to pan out once elected. If they want to get elected like Republicans, they need to adopt their methods, not their policies. Pander to your base, not to the opposition.
