It really drives home the progressive belief that Republicans are working for themselves and their wealthy cronies. They worship money, not god. It’s hard to see how abolishing an agency that made this country habitable after unchecked industries poisoned our land, water, and air during the Industrial Revolution benefits us as a country or as a community of people. We know what unchecked pollution looks like and are STILL dealing with the consequences. Rolling back science-based standards is provably harmful. So why are they doing it? There is only one answer: $$$.
