I toasted and sang, but could not help but sigh.<\/p>\n

A dozen years now, since we passed Y2K,<\/p>\n

Still, few in the media know what to say.<\/p>\n

We haven\u2019t decided what words to be using<\/p>\n

For the year that we\u2019re in, and it\u2019s rather confusing.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwenty-twelve\u201d has its merits: It\u2019s short and it\u2019s nifty,<\/p>\n

It sounds quite familiar, sort of like 1950.<\/p>\n

But what about \u201ctwo-thousand twelve?\u201d Is it winning?<\/p>\n

It seems that a trend toward that one is beginning.<\/p>\n

So, let\u2019s make a choice, and put it in writing,<\/p>\n

And get on the same page when we are reciting.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s nail this thing down; don\u2019t be in between:<\/p>\n

So the argument\u2019s over by 2013.<\/p>\n
