Part of Obama\u2019s \u201cPivot to the East\u201d is to undermine Russia\u2019s economic role in Eurasia. He wants\u00a0to throw a wrench into\u00a0the growing economic integration of Europe and Russia\u2014on behalf of corporate interests in the US who want a piece of the action\u2014and to drive a wedge between economic\u00a0powerhouses, Russia and China. Demonizing Russia is part of Washington’s\u00a0grand hegemonic plan to\u00a0lure Russia into war, allowing further NATO encroachment on Russia\u2019s borders, therefore helping the US to assert itself as an economic and military power in Eurasia. Never mind that people will die\u2014it\u2019s all about corporate profits and gas pipelines.<\/p>\n
